Michael Willis (b. 1987, UK) is a visual artist and designer based in Melbourne, Naarm (AU)

A hybrid practice; Michaels work is an ever–evolving conversation between nature and technology. Frequently dreaming with AI and emerging tools, his visual language is a living dialogue between digital and physical worlds.

Through research and practice, Michael offers alternative perspectives–exploring unconscious environments, organic forms, symbiotic futures and metaphysical narratives. Tracing internal and external landcapes, his explorations are human meditations sensing on deep time, ecology, spirituality, technology, evolution and interconnectedness.

Commercially, Michael has operated for 15+ years in partnership with global brands and independent labels, providing transdisciplinary design, direction and art services for contemporary culture.
